HI CHOIR!!!
We're back from Riva! In the blink of an eye, a week has passed! They always say time flies when you're having good times. I REALLY BELIEVE THAT! Everyone dreaded the feeling of going home! Hahaha. It was great having the opportunity for us to bond together, do crazy stuff and EAT PASTA AS APPETIZER. HAHAHA. We're really a crazy bunch aren't we? Let's not leave the rest of choir out, so here are the videos of our performance!
Some takeaways that we got from the trip:
1. A choir with consistent self-discipline and focus would show that on stage during their performance, especially in our songs, our stage presence, our expressiveness and ability to handle stress, and its something that we would work towards from now on(:
2. During the Grand Finals, it was the time where everyone really really put their heart and soul into singing the last 2 songs. The spirit of making good music, of captivating the audience's attention, whether we were going to win or not is REALLY COMMENDABLE. Don't we just love the sweet applauses that comes after an amazing performance? And that's the lifelong spirit and attitude a Meridian chorister should and would have! Because, WE MAKE THE MUSIC! (heart shaped hand sign!)
3. ENJOY THE MUSIC YOU MAKE. Cause when you do, your audience do too(: The Denmark Radio TV girls came up to me and told us we sounded 'SO SO GOOD, SO GOOD!' so once again. GREAT JOB MJCHOIR!
Let's look forward to our concert right now, along with the rest of choir, its gonna be another BLAST!:D We'll bring good music with our vocals to everyone yes! Do encourage your friends to go alright!
